What We Do

UNDP Belize supports capacity development, human development, advocacy, and coordination, for the achievement of MDGs and of human development, at a national and local level. In all our activities, we encourage effective aid management and south-south solutions. We also pay keen attention to integrating three crosscutting themes into our programmes: I. A Human Rights Based Approach (HRBA) II. Capacity Development, and III. Gender and Women’s Empowerment

Our Goals

UNDP has four main overarching goals on which programmes are tailored: I. Poverty Reduction and Achievement of the MDGs; II. Democratic Governance; III. Crisis Prevention and Recovery; and IV. Environment and Sustainable Development.more
