    Southside Youth Success Project Drop-in Centre Serving Belize City Youth

    24 young men from Southside Belize City are participating in a five-month programme that will allow them to get life-skills guidance and training for employment including through apprenticeship. They will receive certificates, which will allow them to access opportunities to become employed or to re-enter formal education.

    Government and United Nations sign UN Development Assistance Framework

    The United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) was signed by Belize’s Attorney General and Minister of Foreign Affairs and United Nations (UN) Resident Coordinator in Belize. It was developed through a consultative and collaborative effort of the Belize United Nations System, Government institutions, Civil Society and Development Partners. It constitutes the framework of reference for the collaborative actions of the entire UN system in Belize and is anchored to the National Development vision and priorities of the Government of Belize as outlined in national sector plans, policies and strategies.
