Notice of Official Launch and Presentation of “The Good, The Bad, The Nobody Road”
The Department of Youth Services in the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), is implementing the Southside Youth Success Project (SYSP). This collaborative project is funded by the Central America Regional Security Initiative (CARSI), US State Department. The SYSP aims to promote standards of excellence and discipline that support at-risk young men, between the ages of 14 to 17 years, in becoming productive citizens in society, to promote a positive path to adulthood, and to reduce crime and violence in Belize City.
The SYSP proudly announces the Official Launch and Presentation of the Book “The Good, THE BAD, The Nobody Road”, a compilation of stories by the amazing young men participating in the programme. Young men living in the Southside of the City are faced with many challenges and each have a different story to tell of how they managed to rise above these challenges and survive.
The Launch will take the format of the writer’s remarks and brief statements, followed by readings from and distribution of the “The Good, THE BAD, The Nobody Road”.
